| Chlorinated Paraffins Industry Association |

The Chlorinated Paraffins
Industry Association (CPIA) was formed in the late 1970's to address
the TSCA Interagency Testing Committee's recommendations for testing
chlorinated paraffins. CPIA has responded to regulatory and scientific
positions of organizations such as the International Agency for Research on
Cancer (IARC), the National Toxicology Program (NTP), California's Science
Advisory Panel under Proposition 65, EPA's Office of Toxic Substances, the
National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) as well as the
regulatory bodies in Canada and the Europe Union.

| APE Research Council |

The mission of the APE Research
Council, which is composed of manufacturers, processors, users and raw
material suppliers of alkylphenols (APs) and alkylphenol derivatives (e,g.,
alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs)), is to promote the safe use of APs and AP
derivatives through research, product stewardship and outreach efforts, within
the framework of responsible chemical management:

Advocate science-based public policy;

Communicate findings of research, regulatory issues to industry, academia,
government and media; and,
-
Sponsor research to advance scientific understanding of health and
environmental safety of alkylphenol products.
