American Chemistry Council
     The American Chemistry Council is the voice of the US Chemical Industry. The American Chemistry Council represents the chemical industry on public policy issues, coordinates the industry's research and testing programs, and administers the industry's environmental, health, and safety performance improvement initiative, known as Responsible Care.

The Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association
     The Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA), established in 1948, exists to meet the needs of its Regular members by providing a forum for interaction in areas of common interest, and to provide group effort in the economic, political and technical environments where group, rather than individual, effort is more effective.

The Society Of Tribologists And Lubrication Engineers
     The Society Of Tribologists And Lubrication Engineers (STLE) works to advance the knowledge and application of the science of lubrication engineering and tribology. Through education, certification, professional networking and technical information, STLE creates value for its membership of more than 4,300 technical professionals in industry, academic institutions and government throughout the United States, Canada and around the world.

Metal Working Fluids Product Stewardship Group
     Metal Working Fluids Product Stewardship Group (MWFPSG) is an organization spearheaded by members of the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association with the objective of studying and responding to issues involving the use of metal working fluids and assisting in the responsible use of such materials.

Ohio Chemistry Technology Council
     As the premier trade association representing the chemical and allied industries in Ohio, the Ohio Chemistry Technology Council works for our member companies to ensure a competitive and stable business environment for our industry and its customers.

Responsible Care
     Making progress toward the vision of no accidents, injuries or harm to the environment, Responsible Care is good chemistry at work. Through this award-winning initiative, American Chemistry Council members and Partners demonstrate their commitment to the health and safety of employees and communities, and the environment.

Chlorinated Paraffins Industry Association
     The Chlorinated Paraffins Industry Association (CPIA) was formed in the late 1970's to address the TSCA Interagency Testing Committee's recommendations for testing chlorinated paraffins. CPIA has responded to regulatory and scientific positions of organizations such as the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the National Toxicology Program (NTP), California's Science Advisory Panel under Proposition 65, EPA's Office of Toxic Substances, the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) as well as the regulatory bodies in Canada and the Europe Union.

APE Research Council

The mission of the APE Research Council, which is composed of manufacturers, processors, users and raw material suppliers of alkylphenols (APs) and alkylphenol derivatives (e,g., alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs)), is to promote the safe use of APs and AP derivatives through research, product stewardship and outreach efforts, within the framework of responsible chemical management:

  • Advocate science-based public policy;
